What's more, even when you finally realize how very in love you are, you cringe when admitting it to friends, as if they'll take the piss out of you (and yes, some will). I don't mean to imply that it's a bad show, just that it's not *my* kind of show. It's not my type, if you will. I don't even necessarily feel addicted to it. And yet, as the sun goes down and telly-viewing time descends, I feel the pull. And once I start watching, I can't seem to stop, whatever my bed time may be. Just now the song "Carry on my wayward son" was used in the "Previously on..." bit, which it hasn't been for a while, and I got teary. In fact, I will likely never be able to hear that song again without associating it with Demons and Angels and Hunters.

SO glad you have stuck with it and it has found a place in your heart.
I know it is so over the top emo a lot of the time, that the deep growly voices are silly (but sexmo ha ha) that a lot of it is fan service *coughs* Destial *coughs* and some of it is plain stupid. But I properly LOVE it.
I haven't been this addicted and affected by a TV series since Buffy/Angel. Doctor Who bored me stupid too many times and if I ever see another Dalek/Cyberman in my life I will start shooting, yet if I see another black eyed demon I get happy.
I'm almost at the end of series 7 and I just want more.
Yes there are points when I have not liked episodes. It took me a long time to get into series 4 and series 6, and a few to like series 7, but I still want MOAR.

if we were playing spin the bottle, I wouldn't completely object if, on my turn, it landed on Dean. Sam? I might spend those seven heavenly minutes bitch slapping him. (And then might sell my soul to the always scrummy Mark Shepard to get seven minutes more. Totally worth it.)

YOU LOVE DEAN.

MASSIVE SERIES 7 SPOILERS. I MEAN IT. DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN UP TO AND INCLUDING EPISODE 17.
Oh God. It killed me. My heart broke, mended, soared and broke and I am a mess. Cas, Cas is ok!!!!!!
Well he's not but he isn't a puddle of black in the reservoir. Baby Cas. I cried like a kid and sniffed and lip wobbled and cried again.
I knew he was coming back cos I see things by mistake. I thought it was him at the door to Emmanuel's house and then it wasn't and then I saw his trouser legs and my lip wobbled and then his arse (OMG) in the trousers and poor Dean and Dean seeing his friend.
Dean holding it together was so sad. Then when Cas found out who he really was I bawled.
The bit that really got to me was Dean giving Cas his coat back. Then seeing Cas in the coat .
Too many moments that just got to me.
I am writing like a child because it made me wibble.
Sorry for being a child.

Can we have Bobby back now? I LOVED Bobby. Bobby was Dad. I miss Bobby.
I guess the 'ghost helping Dean' will be resolved son and we might get to see Bobby again maybe? Please?

I do not love Dean!!!! I sweeeeeeear!!!! The younger me totally would have, though. Maybe I'm channeling her just a little. ;)

I confess I had to stop watching. I'm fairly well into season 6, and I actually can't stand the thought of watching anymore. It's left me at loose ends, not knowing what I will watch before bed, but so many things are pissing me off so badly I just can't continue at the moment. Maybe later curiosity will get the best of me and I'll pick it back up. For now, though, the mere sight of Sam Winchester makes me want to scratch my own eyes out. And I thought there were no other levels of emo whiny bitch left for him to sink to!

I *do* still keep getting "Carry On My Wayward Son" stuck in my head or quoting Bobby, and I feel sad that I can't bear to watch anymore. Maybe when I've given myself some space, I'll be able to revisit.

In the meantime, ONCE UPON A TIME!!!! It's starting there soon, right? You guys SO have to watch. It's got some Buffy writers, and is seriously awesome. It's got enough girly fairytale stuff to satisfy that side, but then plenty of action and darkness and some fairly twisted stuff. It turns fairytales on their ears and presents them from a whole new perspective. It's just...awesome. My brother kept walking in on me watching, and kept getting caught up in the episodes. I assumed the mere idea of fairytales would turn him off, but last week he confessed he really digs the show, and asked me to leave new episodes on the DVR for him. It's nearing the end of the season, and I feel like I won't know what to do when it's over.

Me either I don't think. Well maybe Dexter (series 1 anyway) and True Blood.

I saw an ad for Once Upon A Time as in 'coming soon' but since then haven't heard anything.

He's not that much younger than you ahahahahaaaaaaaa

Have you got to the episodes about WHY Sam is so awful? I admit he drove me up the wall and I couldn't cope, luckily Dean & Castiel kept me going with it and once Sam had ... well spoilery stuff...... once it gets back on track it gets a lot better. The end of the series had me crying my eyes out though, gets rather heavy.

Have watched the first half of the first episode, Channel 5 is showing the series. I thought I'd watch it as there is nothing else on before Homeland (LOVE Homeland, it is BRILLIANT. Hope everyone is watching or has watched?)
..... I... sorry it is not for me. Blonde woman is Buffy but in her mid 30's (the hair and red leather jacket are SO Buffy haha) but not cool like Buffy.
And ANYTHING with Robert Carlisle has me cringing, I hate the man. I first saw him as Albie in Cracker and he scared me SO much. I next saw him as Begbie in Trainspotting and that cemented the terror. So can't watch it.

SPOILERS FOR SUPERNATURAL SERIES 7 EPISODE 18

BOBBY!!!!!!!! Oh God Bobby as well as Cas. SO happy. Of course I cried cos I cry at the drop of a hat when watching Supernatural, but I am a pathetic love struck loser and I would probably sell my brother to Crowley in exchange for Dean ahahaha.
I really enjoyed the episode as a whole, Garth is brilliant, I love his confidence and his niceness. He has always made me laugh in previous episodes so am glad they brought him back.
Sam & Dean getting drunk was brilliant. I laughed so hard.
The only thing I didn't like was the ghost, normally Japanese ghosts scare the shit out of me, but this one was not scary. Probably because they over used her and didn't have her invisible for 99% of the time.
I loved the mention of Cas at the beginning and then when the camera lingered after Sam & Dean had left the motel at the end and you knew that Bobby was going to be there.
I hope he will be back properly, a full strength Cas could bring him back even though they burnt his body, but I am a little scared we won't get a full strength Cas back.

At the beginning of the series after they killed Cas and the series focussed solely on the sodding Leviathan I didn't even want a series 8. But I want one nowwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!

Now to wait a month for the next episode *grumps* (and yes, they will have to start focussing on the Leviathan again, just hope they deal with them quickly, not a fan at all.

I get not liking Robert Carlyle, especially in OUAT. He's SO over the top as Stiltskin it had me cringing. As I learned more of his character's back story, it became easier to take (there are reasons for it), and now I just find it comical and silly. I LOVE his Storybrooke character. Sooooooo evil. Or is he?

Bummer that you didn't like the show. I actually thought it would be right up your alley. I don't think Emma is much like Buffy, aside from the blonde hair and the clothes, but I again can see where that would have been your first impression. She is sort of a chosen one, but that's hardly just a Buffy thing. Ah well, not everyone can like everything. :D

I may go back to Supernatural. I haven't decided yet. I want to see if it gets better, as you say, but to think of having to slog through more crap to get there...it's not making me want to jump back in. We'll see.

Just watched Once Upon a Time, kinda what I expected. Think I will give it a couple of episodes to see if I am loving or hating. I like the look of the fairytale world, plus I like th actress playing Snow so will see. Robert C didn't bother me all that much, he was very good at being sinister in our world.

Oh and I am watching Homeland and completely agree with Katie, it's a must watch!

I enjoyed it for the fairytale/girly factor in the first episode or two, but it quickly strayed into really interesting territory, I felt. It went from a guilty pleasure show to an addictive "must see".

I've not seen Homeland, but all I've heard is good things. Maybe have to give it a watch.

Watched "Weekend with Bobbie" (Supernatural) last night and loved it. I think Sam-light was what I needed. Faith possibly being restored. ;)

I got recommended it by Adam who said it was like 24 (he is in love with Keifer & is obsessed with 24). I am quite glad it isn't really like 24 (apart from it being American and Governmenty and spys and stuff).
It is far far better acted than 24, you actually care about the characters and all the characters have a point.
It is the only thing I watch on a Sunday.

That is a great episode. I love Bobby, he's great. He's really 'real', he acts as you would expect and he makes me happy when he's in an episode. Crowley rocks as well. Both such a contrast the awful Samuel and co that made me go nooooo at series 6.

I have record OUAT so we will see. Is it better than Grimm? Grimm is ok but a bit too much monster-of-the-weeky-not-much-else-going-on for me. Plus the funny bits seem a bit like they're trying too much. I like Robert Carlyle so that shouldn't put me off. He's awesome when he's scary!

I am loving Homeland although I find it hard to concentrate on each ep at first because it doesn't have the supernatural elements that seem to pull me towards stuff. Although I do like other stuff so that reasoning may be redundant. I think it feels a bit serious and hard work at first maybe.

Bobby is awesome but I felt the lack of Dean and Sam in Weekend at Bobby's but it was directed by Jensen so I enjoyed the extras re that. I really don't mind Sam's storyline. Haven't watched any in ages though and I was so close to finishing (til season 7 is shown on tv). It's stupid sky and stupid all these new US shows :) meaning my box is too full. Maybe over the Easter weekend. In fact I will make that a job for myself. Although I should save some because I am home for a week soon and could do with having a dvd to watch if and when my parents go out and can get to the tv!

So this weeks Supernatural was EVOLS and teased Dean being naked.
They showed the motel room, Sam in the motel talking to Dean who was in the shower.
So then close up on shower curtain and your heart stops and your breath catches in your throat and you make pathetic mewing noises.
Then the curtain moves back a bit and Dean's arm comes out to grab a towel. Then you see his head then NOTHING.
NOT EVEN ANY CHEST.

So mean ahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa!
So many people crying about this. The gits are TEASERS!

I finished Season 6 of Supernatural last week. I feel sort of lost without more to watch, even though, as has been pretty obvious, I've been conflicted about the show at nearly every turn. I can't remember ever feeling this way about any show before, in that there is SO much about it I can't stand to the point where I shout at the screen constantly, but at the same time, there is so much I love, and I'm clearly addicted to watching it. I just wish I could land on one side or the other of the fence, but no, I seem squarely stuck in the middle.

Roll on Season 7 DVDs!

I cried like a baby through the last few episodes of series 6.
So glad you are keeping with it, makes me all happy inside.

As I have said the first few episodes of series 7 made me go NOOOOOOOOO but they have really got their act together after them and I am loving this series.

I finished it too! The very last bit with Castiel made we go 'Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!' although I am concerned that they will gloss over it at least at the start of the next season. Because the stories are always spread throughout the episodes. So I'll have to wait for ages to really see something as far as that goes. So in that way I wish I had dvds and could watch more than one a week. But also I am looking forward to watching it as it goes out for the first time since the first two series which no one watched and when Twitter wasn't around so I couldn't exactly talk about it anyway.
