Hadfield had been grumpy the last few times we went for meets but then last year they were nice again.
Some of the 'Locals' came up to us in the pub and said they'd thought we'd all be weirdos (ha) but were happy that we weren't. There was a very happy man who kept telling me I looked like someone on a TV show (he was drunk, yes) but then he left

The forum is quieter since 'them days' but we still have a laugh and meet up regularly

Welcome, Victoria! Glad you were able to make it to Hadfield, and sorry you got their grumpy side. I agree, it's a lovely place.

As Katie has said, talk has drifted from the League of late, and the forum sometimes gets a bit quiet, but those of us who are still here regularly are up for a chat, and have become friends IRL. It's lovely to have an injection of fresh blood.

Hello everyone.I'm Victoria . Its my first time on here although i was on the thisisalocalshop.com forum for several years. Im 23 been into the league since i was 8 and ive loved everything they've done since. My favourite gent is Reece met him a few times luckily i've never met the grumpy side yet :s Last year I fulfilled a life long ambition and went to Hadfield (aka Royston Vasey) . A very hostile place indeed but with breath taking views. Unfortunately only the newsagents was willing enough to talk about tlog and they still sold some merchandise. Anyway Hopefully the league forum is still alive and kicking and I cant wait to get chatting

Hey there! Welcome aboard, always lovely to have some new blood on the boards. Everyone is very friendly on here and we are only a little mad I was in Hadders the other week and can't get over how much is gone. Most of us on here have been there a few times over the years and watched it all slowly change. Bound to happen but still, boo.

Just a little technical thing, you may wish to resize your Sig, tis a bit tall. I am sure we had size guides somewhere.

We have a caution against huge ones, but as far as firm guidelines go, we don't have actual numbers. But yes, a teensy bit smaller would be helpful.

Which of course brings me to the forum guidelines, which I found hadn't been update in nearly four years!
