Seriously, since I watched films and TV, this has got my goat summat bad.
The unrealism of body parts. watching Dexter right now. The evol murderer just picked up a hand. Is looked like wax, and didn't move at all. Where he held it didn't dimple or anything.
And the natural way a severed hand will be is curled fingers and floppy at the wrist. BUT IT NEVER HAPPENS!
It's either waxy and rigid (ok for rigamortis but it's always meant to be a severed limb after that time) or floppy and so rubbery.

I often think the same way, PNW. Especially when watching forensic dramas. They find out clues in matter of seconds. Just by having a brief look at the scene - usually at night with only the aid of a torch. Amazing.

Will this day never end? It figures, the first time I've had time on my hands at work in ages, no one is about to chat with. Not here, not in RL, nowhere. And, as it would also happen, I'm thoroughly exhausted from working until the wee hours last night, so my brain is too mush to do anything interesting like work on personal projects. I really just want to go home and go to sleep, but barring that, I want distraction.

I swear the clock just moved backward.
