Unbelieveably funny programmes. 'Chewing the fat' especially. Now I dont think they've actually shown any of them other than in Scotland.
And I know Sefi, Mama and i were saying it's a shame as they are brilliant.
Sure you guys would love them.
So have any of you guys see any of them or heard about them?

If you can download clips please do as I think you'll like them.

chewing the fat did a spin off series a few months ago. i believe it was called "Still Game"? it was quite good. never saw chewing the fat but i heard of it!

EDIT: note to self.. if i paid attention to the topic of the post i would have noticed it saying "Still Game".

I think there are bits that unless your Scottish you wouldn't understand but the majority should be ok.
Wish they would make more chewing the fat.

I got the DVD's for my mum for Christmas and have been watching them as full of the flu!
Forgot how great they were! Laughed my fluey ass off...." Mon the fish "
Plus the old granny that goes into too much detail about what she got up to in the bomb shelters!!! :lol:

I was watching still game with me grandpappy on christmas day, I reckon it's my favourite out of the three.

I really wished they would show it 'down south' as they are so good. i dont even know if theres a website that you can see clips on!!
Any ways folks if you ever get a chance to see any of the 3 do. Karen Dunbar was ok but Chewing the fat and Still Game are the best.

We're just here for the banter!! :wink:

You don't have to be Scottish to like it. And saying that'll put people off. Still Game is great stuff, although the only other person I know in real life who has seen it and thought it was great is in his 80s. I saw it on DVD in HMV and jumped at it, but it was only three episodes with no extras or nowt. I'm not made of money.
