Hmmm indeed. Thing is, they've got less funny since their radio show re. their own material (disregarding Peep Show), so if we follow this logic then they've had their day really.

I bloody hope not too. Thing is...is it M+W responsible? Or THEM for encouraging M+W to do what they did with Look? Or something else?

wellll...

THEM for the attrocious marketing campaign + lazy journos...

That said Mitchell and Webb write 75% of all their own material...

and they do perform as well...

I'm afraid on their heads be it.

Im not saying they are washed up or lazy(...ish- ref to M + W look only...)

Its just this it for them, this could be M + W or the incarnation known and Mitchell & Webb at their height.

and they know it.

Something to consider . thats all...

Personally i think its got better because the sketches in situation aren't as strong as the ones they have done now and for radio.

I dunno...overall I would say I prefer Situation to Look. My fave from Situation is probably "Hons, Dons and Two Smoking Oxons". Production is obviously better on Look due to budget...but they're sketch shows so there's always going to be hits and misses.

Take the best bits of Look and Situation edit them together and you'd have a fantastic series instead of two quite good ones.

I love 'Look'; it's spot on for my sense of humour. I prefer it to 'Situation', which I still like a lot but for me has a few 'Ouch!' moments as well as some great stuff. Haven't heard 'Sound' yet (have to wait for Santa) and I'm really looking forward to it but I think I'd prefer looking at M&W heh heh

I'm still watching 'Blunder' although it's painful. You know how biased I am but David is easily the best thing in it. Apart from him I get one or two laughs out of it but that's it.

I'd like to think the best is yet to come from M&W. Maybe they felt the need to be a bit 'safe' on Look as it was something of a showcase for them on the BBC. One of the biggest criticisms I've heard about the live show is the amount of regurgitated TV stuff (which in turn is some radio stuff). I feel they'll stand or fall on what they come up with next...

Now they have regugitated stuff, they should hopefully now start to build on doing more new sketches which i think they will anyway :)

Went along to their last night last night in Brixton. It was great. Very interesting questions came up form the audience. One of my friends were a little cheeky but very funny. Another of my friends was called sir by Raymond and she got him to apologise hee hee. I died when they took their bow because Rob looked right at me and blew a kiss at meeee!!!"!11112111TWELVITY!!!"11

I've just seen series 2 too and loved it. I've heard 3 isn't that great so it's good to hear you like it. I don't know about series 4. Hope so.
