No idea where I'll be going for Halloween yet but I'm trying to pull together a Poison Ivy outfit. A take on the comic version, though doing the Uma Thurman film one might be easier...

I keep rewatching youtube tutorials on how to apply the facepaint so fingers crossed I can get it right. It tends to go either way for me, ends up perfect, or utter shite. Going for a gorgeous green corset which I can attach some plastic leaves to and have found just the right wig.

Hey Ladies.

after seeing this Poison Ivy tutorial I'd love to go as her again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o9HZRnRl4U Admittedly I find the woman a bit annoying but she got skillz. and the two wigs thing is brilliant.

I'm taking a cheapy costume idea tihs halloween and going as a lichtenstein painting. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=h ... 29,r:3,s:0

Saving my big costume for my birthday party I'm having a Rupauls drag race birthday party, i.e a drag party. I'm going as my fave Miss Tammie Brown.

I had a moustache (not on a stick) once for a year. Now when I see photos, I think I look stupid. I dunno why I did it!

Actually, this wasn't for Halloween, this was on New Year's day. :)

We have a club night on on Friday night & the dresscode is "Grotesque & Victorian, Circus Freaks, Steam Punk, Mad Scientists & Inventors."

I have no idea what to wear, as I working I need something practical too.

Hehe, I love the mixture! It might actually work... A beard would be great. Or a big twirly moustache - inventors always have them, it's how they come up with ideas.

The dress code sounds brilliant! I want to come along! My friend did a Victorian freakshow zombie parade. That was cool - Kate's bearded lady reminded me. You could just pick any freakshow or circus costume and do a Victorian twist? I wanted to be The Human Pincushion. But a sword swallower or fire eater would be cool.

Failing that, go as the chicken lady from the end of "Freaks". ;)

Nearly Halloween time! This year I am dressing up. Yay! Now, I wanted to go as either The Hitcher (Mighty Boosh) or Papa. But for The Hitcher I don't know how to get the white for the stripe things because I wouldn't want to use paint and spoil my clothes and masking tape is cream not white. So unless anyone has any ideas I think I'll have to leave that idea. (Maybe I could paint masking tape?!) Papa might be too expensive cos I would need a hat, wig and contacts. Although I wouldn't be able to wear contacts because I wear them already for my sight so I wouldn't be able to see properly and I don't like that idea! Would Papa without black eyes be rubbish do you think? So now I'm thinking zombie. A lot of you guys have done zombies before so I want some advice. What make-up do I need - white, maybe green and some blood? Do you just rip some clothes up for the costume?

Whether Hitcher, Papa or zombie I'd like advice on the make-up. I want it to stay and look decent. Shaz was talking about some sort of primer or base that made her Papa make-up stay on at Hadfield. Anyone have any idea about that? Thanks mah darlings!
