Papa's new wife wrote: I have tickets for that, i thought it was in Jan but apparently it's March. I'm so shit
There's actually about a million of us going to this. At least, I bought a lot of tickets. Maybe it was actually only ten... *pours another glass of red wine* We're going on Monday 8 March, cos that's the day Jez is also doing a talk beforehand (which costs a phenomenal £3). We're taking up most of the front row (which is currently row C if you look on their booking system - the front two rows are fictional people, but if the set-up changes the lady said she would move our seats forward). Come along! EVERYONE come along!!!
I think we should arrange summat, maybe even before Xmas would be nice, a few drinks?
Well, I'm drinking now, and thinking it's been far too long since I last had a nice relaxing glass (or should that be bottle?) of wine or two in on my own. But we should def arrange a drink that is NOT me on my own in my flat for January if December isn't going to work for you, Amy! :)

Also, brilliant: couldn't sleep last night so gave up trying and read Viper's book instead (sorry, Histories of Suicide was hard going!). It's awesome! Seriously brilliant. Loving the genius of so many of the stories, and am stunned by the ideas you manage to think up. Also I quite fancy one of my teachers, and now I'll keep amusing myself by thinking "oh, professor!" *snigger* Love it!

oooh yes, sounds good! What is the play called? I'll go and look it up!

Drinks in Jan sounds great, i'm off to Germany on Dec 17th for xmas, back Jan 8th so anytime then on would be great! I am in anytime! :)

Brilliant thing!!!

Last night I blagged my way into a recording of the unbelievable truth with David Mitchell and was sat no more than 5 metres away from Mr Stephen Fry. I spent the whole time grinning like a loon looking at him, but he simply is divine. It was very funny, its going to be broadcast on Dec 28th and Jan 2nd or 4th or summat! Radio 4!

*sigh* now I have to go out to a friends going away even though its OVER THE RIVER and far away! I just want to be inside watching dvd's in front of my twinking xmas lights. I don't ask for much!

Eep! So glad you're liking it! Thank you so much, hon! Glad I could provide respite from a book that sounds like the most hard going book of all time. And also glad that I made you think naughty thoughts about your hot teacher. That's me: here to help (people have dirty thoughts).
Hello my darling it's me again. Where are you?

We definitely have to arrange something when you get back to London. :) The play is Ghost Stories - it's on at the Lyric in Hammersmith: http://www.lyric.co.uk/pl501.html

Viper, I've really enjoyed the rest of the stories as well. Looking forward to the novel! :D

Brilliant: Being finished for Christmas! Well, apart from all the reading I need to do over the holidays, but hey, I can just put my feet up and have a glass of wine... Need to relax!

It's not weird, it's lovely. I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who don't smile when I manage a tiny bit of success, so knowing that there are people that do is brilliant and heart warming. Especially when it's you, cos you're you.
