I love it for being about sex and relationships and women, but not being about gooey unrealistic romances and looking pretty all the time and always being cute and girly and giving up your career to live back in the deep south with your old hick boyfriend.

I love it for stuff like when Charlotte says to the other girls- maybe we can be each other's soulmates. And when Samantha ends it with a philandering lover because she "loves me more". And when Carrie marries herself and gets her friend with kids and a husband to send her a wedding gift, because if you're single, there are no celebrations outside the ones everyone gets just to celebrate your choices.

Love SATC.

Aww see thats why i love sex and the city as well. Not that bothered about the fashion but i love the relationships they all have with men and eachother. Not seen the film yet but i'm hopefully going next week.

I loved it when I was watching, but I fell out of it again very easily. I expect that if I were to pick it back up, I'd be back in love with it. Not likely to run out and see the film, though. =shrugs=

Just read a rather good piece about the new X - Files movie in SFX, am I the only person looking forward to this? It *sounds* like it will be good.

Yeah!

I think I have even more love for it too because of stuff like the hideous trolls of the aintitcool and imdb message boards, forever going on about raping horse faces as though we can't all see them making up for the fact they've never had a girlfriend.

I mean, seriously, fellas. As though any of you have ever been near women half as attractive as any of the girls of SATC. And then they all moan when they're criticised for talking about raping sluts because the world is so PC now and oppressing them. Blech.

Oh, and I'm sort of excited about the X Files movie. I don't hold out any hope for some Krycek, however.
Hello my darling it's me again. Where are you?

It could get funnier if we keep doing it.

Haven't watched it in ages, but isn't he dead?

Saw Nick Lea at a convention in a holiday camp years ago and whilst staggering to a chalet party he was seen coming out of another (female) guests chalet, who might have been in Lexx... I say no more..Obviously he could have just been there for coffee..

I hope not. Otherwise I'm involved in some pretty serious zombie sex.

AH. AH. Gjggbjhfskzhefhsef? AH. Must. Touch. SoTR.

*regains higher brain functions*

Do you by any chance still have the item of clothing you were wearing upon sighting the second most glorious man in the universe? For indeed I should like to fondle it, and think on better times when he was not a zombie.

Rre: 30 Days of Night - Thought it was okay, the lead vampire guy is freakin' awshum! Perfect casting, he's dead scary & weird.

Danny Huston. He rules. See The Proposition and many over fings.

Bless the Nick Lea and his dirty ways. Makes my wee Viper happy.

I'm interested so far, but when it comes out I'll probably regress and get so excited I stampede the cinema. Although you can't really do that alone, can you? All right, run in like a lunatic then.

I was really looking forward to The Edge of Love but the trailer really annoyed me. "This years Atonement...only better." Lazy! They might as well just say "Please, please, please, give us an Oscar."

They are oceans apart"

Quick run in and run out again but have to say...

Sex and the City - frigging amazing for any SATC fans - love love love loved it. Especially since I was major hyped and was scared it wouldn't live up to it but it did and more. In the words of Carrie 'Fabulous'.

Indy - liked it, I know it was getting some bad press but enjoyed it. Personally I think people gave it too much of a hard time. And Harrison was fantastic and still Hat as Indy

Maid of Honour - *cough* Aye wee be Scotch and all have castles and make Whiskey and dress in kilts at the weekend and live our lives around 'old scottishy tradations' and don't start a meal until a piper and piped it into the room. Oh and we shot our on deer and ride horses rooond our Lochsssssss. And we all related to Sean Connery. Just like all English people know the Queen, wear bowler hats and do morris dancing at the weekends while playing cricket. Seriously how does this shite get made?

:) But but - you guys are, like, so quaint and awesome. Don't you sell the youngest child for a divet of oatmeal and can of Tennants because the ev0l landlord set fire to your tumbledown turf house in the glen. And then force you to walk to rural New Zealand, Ontario in order to breed with your cousings and smoke teh salmon (in delightful yet itchy wool plaid clothing of many colours)? Isn't this 'your heritage'?

Astrid lives in a castle with a ghost. By a loch. FACT! And she sings mournful refrains every night by the moonlight - in order to entertain Japanese tourists and passing smackheads.

I, of course, live in a mine atop the moors. With a gas lamp, a pit pony and 400 children (from t'wicked landlord aristo squire from t'big house Sir Randolph Flynnes). We have nowt but breaded scampi and the love of Jebus to live off. Tis a hard life *coughs*. :)

PS - Maid of Honour is advertised on every bloody bus here. Dempsey's smug face staring at you on your way home from work. Pah.

Tis is in fact all true but before we get to Mount doom I have tae work the lannd in my wee tartan shawl in the bleak and drrrreak rain whilst sheep poo amoungst ma shoeless taes. Once I've chased the elusive haggis through the heather I then have tae wAAsh all the clothes in the dead box. Fatal RTA got me new boots - saves me a fortune.

Once again this is fact also. Unfortunately the ghost has joined in on my singing action but has chosen the Proclaimers greatest hits coupled with his HIGHlarious Jimmy Krankie impression. His Sean Connery is no so good though.

It's true I've seen you, going down tut pit. Getting the black lung and that. And there's no work at the Mill! It's a shitter.

I especially love in the movie that they CGI'd his face to look younger but then of course it's 10 years later and he's aged rather quickly yet the filly of the tale looks pretty much the same. Strange that. Donkey poo is the best way to describe it.
