And can I just say I think I have a little crush on Andre? He just seems like the sweetest guy. I'm glad they brought him back!

Georgina? Who the hell is that? Can you tell I'm tired and had a bit of a sh*t day?

Yes it did have the potential to go all types of wrong. I think the pairs were pretty well picked. I agreed with all of them I think, well to put it another way I can't remember thinking "No, that's wrong".

Matt and Jorgie really are a cut above the rest. As much as I like the other skaters they will have to go hell for leather to get anywhere near. The standard of those two is so high can you imagine what they will be like by the time the final comes round.

Are you still missing Jason? I have to admit I couldn't be bothered with him and I am liking the new panel.

What's the general view On Babylon 5. I never saw it at the time, but have friends who are lending me the DVDs. I can't say I'm that struck. It's ok, but I find it a bit dry.And some episodes are deadly dull!

Babylon 5 is a bug pile of sh*t!

Seriously though all I know of the show is this quote from Spaced. I knew a guy once that was a huge fan and he was super protective of it, just like the commentary on Spaced said!

I do miss Jason, I have to be honest. But then I still miss Nicky as a judge, too, sometimes. I like Louie, though, and am glad he's on board. I am also glad that there's another skater on the panel, but I wish it was someone other than Katarina Witt. She's just sort of blah, imho.

As for Matthew and Jorgie, I cannot WAIT to see what amazing things they'll get up to. I'm also tickled 'cause it looks like Mattie's shot at a second DOI win to match Daniel's two. :D

Paul, never watched B5, sorry. Might have caught a clip here or there, but that's it.

I am with you on the Blah. Better than a spice girl for judging but she hasn't got any va va voom. Karen I kinda miss but she gets so attached to them sometimes I don't think she really sees them any more. Just the effort they put in rather than the performance.

I am really bad for remembering who the skaters are  . With Strictly I know pretty much all the dancers but for DOI sometimes I can't remember. Matt and Daniel are the two that I do know and are still my favourites but the rest of the skaters don't really stick out that much to me. They all seem lovely though.

I tend to remember the pro skaters, especially those who have been around for a while or are like poor Pam in first series whose partner kept bashing her. Remember she hit her head and dislocated her shoulder and something else? Poor thing! I want to say she never came back for a second season, and who can blame her? All that being said, some of the faces of the noobs are starting to blur together.

Anyway, Andre is the Russian fella who came in as a replacement for the pro that got hurt a week before showtime. He skated to victory with Claire a few years back, but then kept getting voted off early. Then I want to say he left the show for a few years. This is the first we've seen of him in a while. I think his wife was a pro skater, too.

Ohhh I think I remember Pam, I have a feeling she was Scottish. David Seaman paired with her, wasn't he the one to hurt her? He cracked her face off the ice during the headbanger I think!

And Ahhhh I know how Andre is now. Total gentle giant.

  Poor Pam. :D

I realize I'm well behind, but I just watched my first Bit Fat Quiz of the Year. I've...erm...obtained copies before, but never could be bothered to watch. I just saw the one from this past Christmas, and I laughed myself silly! It was a proper ab workout!

Oh you should see the Russell Brand and Noel Fielding did the first time they were paired together. Not sure which year though. 2009? It was so good I actually watched the whole (long) programme twice.

Anyway, DOI - I was a bit annoyed because I thought Jorgie was better than Matthew. I mean she was amazing and so fluid in her dance moves etc. Can't imagine how she'll be in weeks to come. I also thought that although he was the worst generally Corey was actually better in the skate off and therefore if they really do vote on that and that only as Philip reckons, the woman should actually have left. However unfair that would be based on their overall performances. Can't say I noticed about his accent!
