Christmas alone doesn't have to be bad :) as everyone has said, you can do whatever the hell you like short of all the illegals like necrophilia and turning your house into a meth distillery... Spoil yourself like crazy, turn up the music so loud you can see the air vibrating and enjoy the peace of an argument-less Christmas :D

(I can guarantee by 6pm tomorrow, I'll be frazzled by all the family squabbling  )

I love love love Crimbo with my family, but sometimes...I do kind of feel like I only get time to do a proper Crimbo for me (playing DS, reading Stephen King, watching The Office, etc) when it hits the 28th or after everyone has gone to bed.
Hello my darling it's me again. Where are you?

It could get funnier if we keep doing it.

I read Stephen King! I reread Salem's Lot!
*high fives*
*high five*

He always releases one in the Autumn time, so I save it up for Crimbo. But one year I reread The Stand. It's weird, but that's one of my stand-out memories of Crimbo time.

And you never know- you might care about Who. The new guy might turn out to be really sexy and orsum! His melted Frankenstein face might turn out to be really handsome!

God, what am I saying?

Papa's new wife wrote: Yes Xmas with the family is lovely and yay and presents, but I'm teh evols and wanna watch TV!
Heh, I know the feeling! Why is it no one else seems to understand that you can't actually watch Doctor Who if they're talking really loudly about something else at the same time?!?

Still, I think I've managed to get into the Christmas relaxation thing. I didn't even stress out about losing my train tickets to and from Dorset and having to buy another one. I'm sure it must be brewing somewhere under the surface... :D

This may sound trival, But I was looking for a particular article in a back issue of Doctor Who Magazine ( I have a complete mint set starting back in 1977), so I got them out and they have got damp, stuck together and gone mouldy. I am so annoyed that I had and absoloute flip out.

I am so pissed off, because I thought they were in a good spot. They may just as well go in the f*cking bin.

I just went onto Facebook, found a "RIP" group for someone I know, immediately went into shock, threw up and was in tears and now I see it's in the "Just for fun - Injoke" category... I've asked someone if it's actually true but nobody is responding.

This is not f*cking funny. I need to know now, and if it's a joke: F*CK YOU.

It was a joke. I am so relieved right now it's unbelievable. Pretty pissed off I must admit. As jokes go that isn't the funniest one I've heard... :?

Thats not funny.

Some things just shouldn't be joked about & it's not very funny. Its on a social netwroking site, I'd imagine a few people will have the same reaction as you.

Hmm really. Have you looked at it properly. I thought they'd made things more private not less. Like now my statuses have a locked thing next to them which I don't really understand.

Mine doesn't seem as private as it was. People couldn't to request friends from me before and only people who were friends could see me etc, but now they can. The result is now that my mate's wife's friend requested to be my friend and just to be nice I accpeted. Now she is a shocking pain in the rectum. She actually is fanatical. She won't leave me alone*. Actually, I'm going to block her.If friends wife asks why I am going to forward some of the photos she has sent... That's another thing I never used to have my e mail address up for general consumption, but she seemed to get it.

Dunno why they just can't leave FB be and not keep 'improving' it.

*What this says for her taste heaven alone knows.

If you go into Settings at the top right of your home page you can change everything so that only friends can see stuff. I just did it after realising my photos could be seen by everyone. When I ticked everyone as I created the albums I thought it must mean all my friends. But it means everyone.

Oh dear. Yes, block her and if he asks tell him!

Yeah be careful about activating FB for your mobile too. I activated it then a few hours later I got a random text from someone I used to know, who I'd just accepted a friend request from saying 'hope you don't mind but I got your number off FB'

Yes I bloody do mind! Needless to say I edited my info quick!
