Huzzah! It does!

But we should still keep this spoiler free for a few days, yes?

I don't really get the idea of a seperate torchwood thread without being able to discuss torchwood?!?! Shall we have a spoiler thread too then?

Actually that's true, maybe keep the spoilers out of the other threads and just keep them in here. Otherwise we have nothing to talk about!

Hmmm. just me then ..I found that Gwen woman really irritating...and the plot in the first one a bit clunky and predictable, but liked the 2nd one better.
I love the look and feel of the show and as for JB there are * NO* words really ..... *dribbles.....and may need clean pants*
And I believe I was right to stick to my guns and ban the small person watching it but I could imagine a lot of little 'uns disappointed they can't see Capt. Jack , but it really isn't suitable for kids.

*SHEILA LOOK AWAY NOW - I'VE STARTED SPOILERING!!!* :D

Heh, poor Selina - was she upset? Hey, kids will be disappointed, but it's something to look forward to when they're older! :P

I was really taken aback by the end of the first episode - wasn't expecting that at all, any of it (not Suzie and the murders, not Jack's immortality (see, I was right! Teh Barrowman really is god! :P) ), and it actually gave me quite a chill. After all the techo-geek-fun of most of the episode it was almost shocking.

Personally, I found Gwen rather sweet (seems to be quite a Russell T thing to introduce ideas via some curious young girl a la Rose Tyler). Not overly keen on the rest of the Torchwood team yet (alternately boring/annoying), but hoping they'll grow on me. Still, who needs good minor characters when Jack's running the show??

Well, well who would have thought. I wasn't expecting much and it was awesome!

I think Barrowman and his character are more at home in this type of show and always seemed ill at ease in Doctor who proper. Its an adult Character and is better in a Adult show

The other characters will take a while to become likeable though I think Gwen hit the floor running. Shes great.

The first episode was just establishing and was ok. though one supposed to be horrifying scene early on just seemed comical to me! I won't say which it was.The whole episode was bascally DW's first episode Rose, redone and darker

The second episode was the better and if it continues like this I can see it running and running.

Eve Myles! Phew what can I say (just heading off to claim her after this post!) There was one scene which really did make me sit up and take attention!

Just heard on radio that with the exception of football, Torchwood has got the highest rating for a digital channel programme ever! So Hurrah!

I DIED! I just have to say that....

rather than give a proper detailed analysis of my thoughts into the whole storyline, characters etc... my brain is far too melted into mush from John-sizzling-Barrowman!!

I mean...

he wore braces, he's immortal (therefore GOD!!), eats pizza, he wears braces, wore a military coat, kisses people LOTS and did I mention he wears braces???

and some of the lines he came out with...MY GOD! Do they not know the effect he has on the women population???????????

In short...I *((&&*%&%&ING LOVED IT!!!!!!!

I didn't think much of what I saw of this. But i was very very drunk. So I'll have to watch the repeat. And if there's any more spoilers I'll not read the thread and give my new opinion if revised, which I'm sure will be disastrous for you all.
