Off for a fantastic weekend with friends in Leicester, we have top eating planned, cinema to to see The Avengers film and a BBQ Sunday! Going to rawk!

I've got Mexican food and margaritas for Cinco de Mayo tomorrow night with mah bestie. On Sunday is our monthly dinner party. The theme is "Greek".

Tomorrow night I'm off to a friends. I suspect there will be beer, wine, doritos, Wii, Mortal Kombat & laughing.
Then on Sunday maybe cinema - The Avengers (am not really looking forward to it, so not a Marvel girl apart from X-Men) or a Ghost tour.
Then when I get home 45 minutes of the Winchesters and a Chinese takeaway.

Brilliant - seeing the melting ice caps yesterday. I felt 18 again being in the same room as David from Luxembourg..and even a cheeky bonus from Alex too. David still has an epic voice

A friend's birthday party is coming up and it's fancy dress.
As you know I take fancy dress rather seriously ( ) and got the chance to dress up as Mazikeen from the Lucifer Graphic Novels. I was meant to dress up as her last Halloween but I ruined the costume by mistake and ended up being Harley.

So I have been searching for costume bits again.
Last year there were loads of brilliant costume parts on ebay, all the right size, all cheap, all the right colour.
This year I found bugger all. I bought a skirt and it was shit so I sent it back and only yesterday did I get the remainder of my refund from ebay (I had to go to dispute and yell at this utter butch. Thankfully I kick ass at ebay and always get my money back if I am messed about).
So the party is just a few weekends away and I was panicking.
Every skirt or dress was the wrong colour or the wrong size.

I finally thought 'sod this and went looking for something that would 'do'.
So what do I find? The perfect item, perfect size, colour, cheap as chips. Mislabelled. HA.
I still win at ebay and costumes.

Brilliant. My puppy, she may be all I talk about at the moment but she is so frigging cute. Can't believe we have only had her for six weeks. She makes me smile every day.
