Me too. I really enjoyed most of Whitechapel and a new series sounds good to me.
Did I get it right, is the theme of this series SPOILER The Krays? SPOILER.

Ooh, and anyone know when the series starts I tried to find out on ITV.com the other week and it seemed like 2011, but NOOOO I want it now!

Yeah that right. That info was released when they announced the second series.

The ads are on with coming soon so I'm assuming it must be October time?

I really enjoyed Whitechapel last night.

They seemed to have changed Steve's character a little tho - last series we was a ripperologist who lived with his mum & this series he's a respected historian with his own tv programme. Seemed too much of a leap.

I think the documentary was in his past and I got the impression that he thought it was a respectable thing but really it was just a low-cost silly thing. I think he just knows about criminals generally but obviously the ripper is his speciality. That was how I saw it.

Series three of Whitechapel has started screening in the UK (I didn't realise it had even been made, heh!) Looks set to be another interesting (and rather freaky) series! I watched the first episode the other night and it looks as though Steve's lost a bit of weight O_O

I saw the first episode monday. Looking like this series will be great. I do love Steve's character, he's very pompous.

Hmm maybe. He was on a morning show a week or so ago and I thought he was looking very handsome! I do like Whitechapel. Can't be yet another copycat though or it'd be silly. They did say something to this effect which I'm glad about.

Only found out about series 3 of whitechapel last week when I saw Rupert Penry-jones on this morning. Its not been shown in scotland yet but for some reason i could access it in catch up tv. So hey ho. Series 3 was awesome. Loved the direction it took & also loved that it was 3 two parters.

I don't know. I enjoyed it but I didn't love it. Think maybe they're trying to hard? Trying to be clever. I just didn't find myself all that bothered by any of the plots. Nice and dark though.
