Paul. It says on the previous pages that it's a sit where you like thing cos it's a teeny theatre.
We're going to try to get good seats when we arrive.

Kind of a spotted...

Postby alex » Fri May 09, 2008 7:59 pm

Found this on "Holymoly" website...

"Spotted at a pub in London Bridge the other night:
British actors James Dreyfus, Reece Shearsmith and Nigel Harman knocking back shot after shot.
We aren't sure who drove Nigel's motorbike home though... it CAN'T have been him!
A mole who knows about penises tells me that Harman's cock is described as "not that long, but REALLY thick, and very dark meat".
Savour that sentence for a second... Really.Dark.Meat. WTF? "

They sound like they're getting along famously!

I was just going to post that! Although perhaps a little more sensitively, I would have edited out the rudeness. After all, there are youngsters on here!

I considered it - but reading through, there is far worse on here.

I saw this on Tuesday with GTJW and have to say that Reece has undertaken the role of Nick with great skill and it really felt like he's made it his own!

The whole play was very good and the cast seemed very comfortable in their roles and with eachother already, so kudos to them all!

Reece has Ross style hair in this, though the fringe is slightly longer and the age transition is great. Very subtle and clever (would we expect anything else? )

When waiting for the stage doors to open (which was 7.40) we were sitting there at around 7pm and Reece came walking past us, in his trademark sunglasses but it took me a few seconds to realise it was him! The hair threw me I think.

And the theatre is so small. 3ft from the front row to the stage which is VERY low down, you could almost reach out and touch him.... (some hope.)

I think that he, James Dreyfuss and Nigel Harman are wonderful. And who would have thought Nigel Harman would be so good at comedy? But he is!

So yes -- Mr S strikes gold once more

Loads of reasons to listen to Radio 4's Loose ends from yesterday, not the least of which is Nigel Harman talking about Common Pursuit and they do mention Reece.

Also on the show - the two Hollys from Red Dwarf are going on tour! Bless! And also Idiots of Ants (who I still apologise to profusely for the chair incident and the drunken husband incident) are on there doing a sketch. They are a fab new sketch group which you should all check out if you are in London or in Edinburgh in the summer.

Listen now! (again)

Ahhh my little idiots, I feel like a proud mum at a school play. They've gone global with their facebloke sketch, they were even interviewed on Fox news. I've seen quite o few of the new sketches for Edinburgh and it's gonna be a fab show, wouldn't be surprised if they get nominated for the eddie this year.

Looking forward to seeing this play everything I've read and heard about it has been great. I'm going to see it with Hazel and Debs on the 31st.
