Re: American, Jessica Lange rules, Horror Story

Just started watching the first season the other week, and really enjoying it. I like the randomness of it, and waiting to find out the backgrounds of the various dead folks. And got very excited that Quicksilver's one of the main ones (Tate)! Deeply fond of him. The show's very well pitched. I have...

Re: Dr Who

So, Christmas...?

I'd had a bit much port, so I think I ranted through quite a bit of it. But I wasn't keen. It was watchable, but that seems to be about the best you can say about Who these days...

Re: Annoying Things II

Why can't I find the Vesuvius Club meet thread? I was sure it must have been called 'Victorian Christmas in Lun-dun' or some such. Gah! :(

Re: Dr Who

I rolled my eyes a lot at Danny as the Cyberman (it was immediately obvious it was him who'd rescued her - and didn't they already do all that with the Centurion? Very cheesy and lame to do it again). Although I actually got a bit teary at the Brigadier coming back at the end! Overall, it was better...

Re: Batman Babies (Gotham Thread)

So, Stewart and I managed to get 3 episodes in. I like the look of it, and did enjoy watching it, it just didn't really grab me. I could happily stop watching it, though we'll probably keep at it and maybe I'll get hooked! I do love Penguin, though, he's very sweet and stabby. :D Aw, hadn't heard ab...

Re: Welcome to Night Vale

They're bound to come back. They've apparently sold more tickets in London than anywhere else in the entire European tour! I hope they bring Dylan Marron next time (lovely Carlos).

Re: Dr Who

Well, I didn't hate it as much as most of you, it seems! I actually found there were quite a few things in that episode that seemed to set the finale up quite nicely - the only problem being you just know they're going to ruin it in the final episode! Moffat has a terrible problem with spending ages...

Haha, geeky indeed! I don't think I've ever heard anyone make that comment about Hunger Games, but I'll certainly look out for it now! :D

Re: I made this!

Ooh, love the soap-making idea! I'm lazy, and it's easier to buy stuff off Amazon than spend time on people. :P But things people have made for you mean so much more than random shit.

I haven't seen the second one, which was my favourite book. Really enjoyed the first film, though!

Re: Vote Saxon (John Simm thread)

So, we ended up watching it anyway! Well, the first two episodes anyway. It was kind of amusing, in a totally confusing, irritatingly over-mysterious sort of way. It kept making me giggle because it's like a serious version of 'Welcome to Night Vale'. Also amusing that the BBC think a special warnin...
