Re: Dr Who

I liked it, too. (Teeny text for spoilers) Amy, the Doctor and the Weeping Angels = Awesomesauce :D River Song = Go DIAF  She just really gets on my nerves. I want to like her, but... IDK, she's just so smug . Plus, she can fly the TARDIS better than the Doctor after one lesson, despite him ha...

Re: Dr Who

I thought it was a bit of a mixed bag too :? I liked the Timelord stuff (although I'm not sure who that woman was supposed to be), and I liked how the Timelords had putting the drumbeat in the Master's head so that they could escape from the Time Lock. That was cool. I liked the Master and the Docto...

Re: True Blood

I love the accents too (especially because 'Sookie' sort of sounds like 'Sucky', and it's about vampires... I find it amusing anyway) They sound fine to me, although I'm sure they do sound dodgy to people actually from that area. I don't mind Sookie actually - she annoyed me a bit at first but...

Re: Dr Who

You know the episode where the Ood are kept as slaves? In that one, the ending has the Ood mention Doctor Donna, and that the Doctors song is ending. The woman on the bus repeats this, as do several people/monsters throughout the 4th series. The Ood were the first to mention that The Doctor's time ...

Re: Dr Who

No, I'm sure it was the woman on the bus that said "Your song is ending" and "He'll knock four times". You know, the one who always won £10 on the lottery?

Re: Dr Who

I liked it. It wasn't OMGAWESOME like Blink or Turn Left but it was still quite fun. The last 15 minutes or so were great :D I loved the Doctor going all dark and scary. I wish they'd stuck with it longer though, he changed his mind after about five minutes :( Also did anyone get what the random Ood...

Re: Buffy & Angel & Most Things Whedon

Just got around to seeing episode 1 of Dollhouse last night (I was away most of last week), anyway, I really liked it. I was a bit nervous before watching it because I'd heard that it doesn't really get going until later on in the season, and I'd been SO excited about it ever since I first heard of ...

Re: Buffy & Angel & Most Things Whedon

If anyone hasn't seen Dollhouse (probably just me... I hate not having sky :( ), it's starting on ITV4 on Monday :D I can't wait

Re: Myspace (and other online communities)

Twitter has been great this week. First there was the Trafigura/Carter-Ruck thing on Tuesday, then today everyone was talking about the Tube guy and of course, Daily Heil writer Jan Moir... seriously, we rule the world ^_^

Re: Firefly and all things Serenity

Ah well I've missed most of it now :P
Doesn't matter, my friends dad has Firefly and I think he has Serenity too, so I'm sure I'll end up seeing it.

Re: Firefly and all things Serenity

Serenity is on the telly tonight, I really want to see it but I've never seen Firefly. Will it still make sense or should I wait until I've seen Firefly?

Re: Annoying Things II

I thought it was just one chain of shops that restricted it? I've never even been to Scotland though, so I don't know. I know in England it isn't legally age restricted, although some shops are weird about it. I used to hate having to ID people, especially because the shop would make you ID everyone...

Re: Annoying Things II

Red Bull isn't leagally age restricted, although I think some shops won't sell it to you if your under 16 (God knows why, it's only sugar and a bit of caffeine). We used to get a load of 13/14 year olds in the newsagents I worked in amazed that we'd sell them energy drinks because Sainburys wouldn't...

Re: True Blood

It's funny you should say that, I was watching episode 1 earlier and there was a bit that reminded me so much of Twilight ( when she can't read his mind, but can read everyone elses, and in Twilight Bella is the only person whose mind Edward can't read... ), but I just assumed that Twilight came sec...

I know, it's still impressive.

The end was pretty awkward though :?
